A person reported losing their wallet last year and after viewing surveillance cameras, observed Bostic picking up the wallet and leaving the area, Bayonne police said. A credit card belong to the victim was recovered from Bostic's residence when police arrested him for stealing the e-bike on Wednesday, Sept. 27, officers said.
In August, another person reported that Bostic entered their parked vehicle and removed property from it, officers said.
Last month, police said they also determined Bostic was responsible for breaking into a parked minivan. While arresting Bostic, police found he was wanted on eight warrants issued from Atlantic County, officers said. Bostic was charged with two counts of burglary and one count of theft, officers said.
Bostic has been charged with credit card theft, burglary and theft and receiving stolen property, police said.
